The Witch: Part 2. The Other One is a 2022 South Korean science fiction action horror film written and directed by Park Hoon-jung. A sequel to the 2018 film The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion, it stars Shin Si-ah, Park Eun-bin and Jo Min-su. The film was released on June 15, 2022 by Next Entertainment World.
The film follows a young girl named Ark 1 (Shin Si-ah) who is the sole survivor of a secret laboratory experiment. She is being pursued by a group of people who want to use her powers for their own ends. Ark 1 meets Kyung-hee (Park Eun-bin), a young woman who helps her to escape. The two of them go on the run, and Ark 1 must learn to control her powers in order to survive.
The Witch: Part 2. The Other One is a visually stunning film with some impressive action sequences. The performances are also top-notch, with Shin Si-ah giving a particularly memorable performance as Ark 1. The film is not without its flaws, however. The plot is somewhat convoluted, and the film can be quite violent at times. Overall, The Witch: Part 2. The Other One is an enjoyable film that is sure to please fans of the first film.
